I've recently been in a movie with some stupid twit constantly opening her huge Blackberry to text. The light from the darn thing is very distracting. I'm going to start taking a flashlight with me and shine it in the face of the next person that continually does that. Do it just once, no problem..they probably needed to let someone know they were in a movie....but beyond that? HECK NO! STOP IT. You're messing up my $10 bucks AND your own. If it IS something urgent, get your butt up and go outside. Where the heck are your manners!?!

My iPhone got stolen from a restaurant one night a dinner.
I was gone for less than a minute sot someone was probably just waiting for the opportunity to grab it.
I reported the iPhone stolen here:

It's a world wide data base of stolen property, not simply iPhones.
Hopefully it helps catch the thief if they try to sell it!

I believe they replaced it with the same chip. The issue was that the
chip that I had was defective from the manufacturer. Now assuming
they didn't place another defective chip in my laptop, I would hope
that it will not fail again. Is there any accounts of people having
the graphics card fail again after repair?

It IS very cool and I hope that an app like it will pop up in the American App Store soon. In fact, according to the article I linked to, Google may be toying around with an augmented reality type app as well. And if they really are, I wouldn't be surprised.

As for the snow, it's a nice little plugin that I ran into last winter when I was still a blogger.com user. Truthfully, this plugin is part of what made be take the plunge and transfer my entire blogspot blog to wordpress. It took me a month and half to do it (really, really long story), but it was so worth it. I love my blog to death!!! When I can't blog for whatever reason, I am so sad.

Man, it's a tough choice. I think the Droid won't "kill" the iPhone, but it will make a considerable dent into the iPhone market share, and may completely "kill" the Palm Pre. The Droid is a beast of a device and offers everything that the iPhone can with the exception of the millions of apps Apple offers. I've been waiting for this device for a little over a year now, and I hope I can afford the Droid!

I was planning on buying this when it came out, not because it's like an iPhone... but because I want an Android phone (and there aren't too many cool phones on Verizon). After doing a little bit of research, I found out that for $50 less a month than what I'm paying on Verizon I can have unlimited text and data on Sprint. So now I'm thinking about switching and getting the HTC Hero (with thanks to Corey H. and Edwin V. for talking it up so much).

Thanks for the mention .. and to answer your question, it was all accidental. Most of the popular youtubers just started making videos because it was something they enjoyed and were passionate about. A lot of us have been very lucky to be able to turn our love of entertaining and video making into a career -- a very different career but one nonetheless :)
